Description

For many of us, the holiday season is the best time of the year. We especially enjoy November and December. Just think,

back to back major holidays. Both marked by food, family, and fun. On top of that is Black Friday shopping and Christmas presents. What more could you ask for? Holidays often serve as an opportunity for us to be thankful for

what we have and even more thankful for who we have around us. Well, for some people, the holidays have the opposite effect. They are reminded of their lack and their loss. Instead of jubilation and celebration, there is physical and emotional isolation. Because some of us are consumed by a myriad of emotions and not feeling the merry of Christmas, we will carve out a safe place and have a time of lament, listening, crying if need be and hope called Blue Christmas. This time of caring for broken hearts and broken souls will take place Wednesday, December 14th at 6:00pm. Come if you find yourself angry, sad, overwhelmed, fearful, or grieving this holiday season. Also, please invite anyone that you know who is currently experiencing loss and hurt.
